Duration

  • 4 months, 15 weeks
  • 3 days per week × 5 lessons (45 minutes each) per day = 15 lessons / week
  • Total of 240 lessons

Starting level

  • No knowledge of the Latin alphabet

Target level: A1.2, demonstrated by

  • class participation
  • completion of assignments
  • midterm tests final exam

The curriculum initially focuses on literacy and pronunciation and gradually shifts toward strengthening basic language skills (with a communicative emphasis).

A1.2 SKILLS AT OBJECTIVE LEVEL

The student can

  • introduce themselves and give basic information
  • ask and answer simple questions
  • understand slow and clear speech on familiar topics
  • write a short message or description of everyday life
  • use the present tense and basic imperfect tense

  • Towards A1.2 level

If the course takes place and there is space, you can register for the course even after the last day to register.

The full course fee of €3,900 must be paid upon registration. The course fee is non-refundable.

If the course is canceled for reasons attributable to the institute, the course fee can be transferred to the next corresponding Finnish course.

Everyone participates in the courses at their own risk and is responsible for their own insurance coverage.
